    Keep cleaning it..Or remove it. Oxidation only occurs when metals have been exposed to liquid or chemical. Humidity would be classed as liquid. In metal IE vehicles, the oxidation (rust) keeps eating away. it needs to be cut away to good, sound material. Martin
