Ademco SE 10 alarm Zone 01 type malfunction

While programming these units, exit delay is essential. The pad doesn’t close until ‘exit delay’ is set in seconds or minutes. This is clearly not a fault and a user not setting it correctly. Which is why I mentioned reading the manual. Martin

Ademco SE 10 alarm Zone 01 type malfunction

Have you got the manual? Is zone 01 possibly silent mode and connected to a dialer?. When you program the unit, you have to press buttons sequentially within 2 seconds. What does the unit display while on zone 01? What does the unit display while on zone 03?. Has the unit previously been...

27Mhz FM Transmitter and receiver circuit.

Back in the early 80s, CB radio was very popular in the UK. We were only allowed 40 channels on FM. AM was illegal. The USA used AM. Every radio had a label (CB/27/81). Citizen band/27Mhz/1981. Of course, some people bought AM rigs, myself included and under the counter labels were bought too...

Induction hubs keeps blowing out fuse

ok, also a hob has 2, 4 or 6 six elements. If one or two are used for weeks it might be fine on a lower amperage circuit. If once a month you use all elements, you overload the circuit. Martin

Induction hubs keeps blowing out fuse

As @Bluejets already explained. Without much more information, it’s impossible to say. But obviously the cooker/hob is clearly requiring a higher amperage circuit. Some hobs can be plugged into 13A sockets (UK). Others require a seperate circuit solely for the cooker/hob combination. You...

    fuses not doing their job

The OP did mention trying a surge limiter device. I would be inclined to agree with @Minder , with a fast blow fuse. You may depend on the location that ‘any’ fuse has been fitted. That said, the OP needs to find the original fuse rating and type. This is for an electric gate? I think. So a...

Input power vs Output power in pro amps

@BobK ‘ reply. And @Alec_t ’s reply. Yes you can for a millisecond before it blows up. The output is more than likely peak. ie- max output before self destruction. I have Crown amps and Numark amps. The Numark are great and powerful. But 1200 W is unrealistic. More like 600w driving it hard...
