Help to identfy a battery connector

If it were ME I'd salvage a few old batteries and nip the connectors off.......

    Add Hdmi to a monitor

The monitor you show has a native resolution of 1024x768. Does this match your tablet display? Considering a micro-HDMI to VGA converter costs only $10 though....... https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Adapters/1080P-Audio-Rankie-Plated-Active-Converter-Female/B00ZMV7RL2

    3.3v Voltage Regulator

Can't you arrange for the battery to be disconnected from the circuit whilst charging? Simple switched socket arrangement would work.

    Add Hdmi to a monitor

Many tablets have resolutions of 1200+ pixel/line and 600+ lines. A standard VGA display is 640x480 therefore unacceptable loss of details may be apparent if you use a screen of lower resolution than the device you originally view the content on. Most modern LCD TVs have the HDMI connection...

Identifying LCD Display - VDO Logic Combi

Addendum - since you managed to get a paper strip under the display (?!?) you obviously managed to pass it under the zebra strip - indicating that the pressure was poor to say the least.....

Identifying LCD Display - VDO Logic Combi

:D The 'strip' between display and circuit board is known as a 'zebra strip' and consists of multiple conductive strips sandwiched between insulators and is commonly used to make the connections to LCDs like yours. They do tend to rely heavily on 'pressure' to maintain contact and equaly, the...

    Add Hdmi to a monitor

You can't. Well, not easily and certainly not so it actually displays as hi-definition! The best you can do is to use the HDMI-to-VGA converters that exist.

Help identifying unknown component (SMD Diode?)

It will measure 'open-circuit' under normal test conditions - goes 'short' under over-voltage situations, as it should.

    Rf transmitter receiver

Try using one of the LORA series (433MHz or 866MHz). Look for 'spread spectrum' operation as a factor.

    Electronic components - need suggestion

What is that supposed to mean? I understand the Bradford reference but what do you mean by you 'need Texas Instruments'? As a company, Texas Instruments has annual revenue of $13bn so if you 'want' TI be prepared to fork out in excess of $30bn to obtain it.

    Replace the snubber diode

I've only found surface-mount devices in my regular suppliers schedule but this link shows various other similar devices if you can find a retail outlet for them: http://category.alldatasheet.com/index.jsp?Searchword=SNUBBER%20DIODE

    LED Driver

Other than your links being 'crossed' the 48-142V devices are simply drivers where the user can set the output voltage (allows you to have 'any' number of LEDs in your string). The range of adjustment is, as you state, from 48V so there will be a MINIMUM number of LEDs required in any string -...

    LED Driver

LED panels are usually made from a parallel 'array' of series connected individual LEDs. Each LED may drop between 1.2 and 3.6V (depends on colour) and a series chain of LEDs is usually made to run at the chosen voltage 24V, 36V, 48V etc. The driver unit you get will have to be purchased to...

Repair of a ATI 7970m graphics card

Something obviously wrong with the laptop then. Have you checked for suspicious viruses, cleaned the HDD? If you can eliminate software as the 110% CPU issue then we can start to look for problems in the hardware. Use alt-ctrl-del to list the running processes (assuming you're using Windows)...

Light glow along a path and stairs following distance movement

So basically you have an idea, a bunch of parts and you want 'us' to do the donkey work? Have you got any workings you've done yourself? if only to prove that you are at least making some effort and not going to be wholly reliant on the forum members to do this 'for you'? What will be our...

Repair of a ATI 7970m graphics card

Yup, definitely retrofitted - and poorly at that although I doubt their fitting is the cause of your current problem as the card seems to have worked ever since you had it. Does your laptop have a separate VGA connector that allows an external display to connect and run without (i.e. bypassing)...

Bosch Cordless Drill GSR 12-2 Charger testing

If the tool is for a mainstream retailer (and not an outright copy/rip-off) then the quality of construction will (should) not vary regardless of Chinese/Malaysian manufacture as the retailer will have their own, fixed, quality assurance standards.

How do I test a Battery?

Many alarm systems use simple trickle charge circuitry to keep the battery topped up. This is a very poor way to 'maintain' a battery (given how modern, controller circuitry is cheaply available) but even the best lead-acid rechargeable will have a useful life of around 5 years. The alarm...

Repair of a ATI 7970m graphics card

It could be that the capacitors were fitted retrospectively to cure a problem - likely the original capacitors were to low in value so a 'mod' was made to fit larger values (??? guessing). That aside, if they were fitted correctly it's not really an issue but the fact that they appear to have...
