    Op Amp Stability

LVW Said: 1.) Main Parameters * Beta: I think it would be useful to define the resistors R1 and R2 using a ref. to Fig. 5 Done LVW Said: * Acl: Use beta again (instead of B) - otherwise one can assume that there is a difference between B and beta. Yep, missed that one. I must have edited it...

    Op Amp Stability

Thanks for the feedback. I'll go through your comments and let you know. I appreciate your comments. I'll re-check my connection. An Linear Tech engineer showed me this a while ago, I may have it wrong. Adam

    Op Amp Stability

If this is taken well then after opamps I plan to do some more over the coming year. These include transmitting IR over distance and calculating the correct power, LED angle etc. wirless power transfer. And the big one EMC. I will also encourage very very much for others, Steve, Harald, Dave...

    Op Amp Stability

Thanks for the comment Lvw. I'll look at your comments later. Did you like the post anyway? You didn't say. Adam

    Op Amp Stability

Well Guys, your thanks inspire me to carry on. Steve or Harald please feel free to edit my post as you feel fit if you see any mistakes you can PM me if you want so I can update my master document at home. This took me along time in the evenings correlating simulation with real world. Sorry for...

0-60VDC POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLED BY 0-5VDC

Ok I will work on a new thread this week in the evenings and see if I can get something useful together. Give me a bit of time as I am at work this week. Cheers Adam

    Inductive Voltage Help

Yes this is wireless power transfer and yes it is just the standard resonant formula. But you have to include the mutual inductance of the two coils. Planer coils are no more complex it's just when working out the inductance you need to consider the substrate you are using. False triggering will...

0-60VDC POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLED BY 0-5VDC

Right I have done a couple of simulations to see how the phase margin was effected but a time delay in the output loop. What I did was simulate the original circuit minus the opamp and find the time difference between the two which turned out to be about 2us. Then run a open loop simulation with...

    Inductive Voltage Help

Oh that's a new beast. Been looking at that only last week. Very imprest can get about 50mm with plastic former coil of about 400uH. Very impresive results. Cost about twenty quid from Farnell. Adam

Yep ok. Give me today as I am decorating today. Adam

0-60VDC POWER SUPPLY CONTROLLED BY 0-5VDC

I wouldn't want to add any capacitance but the propogation delay for the loop is going to be quite small. I think you will still have a reasonable phase margin. I'll have a look later. I bet I am wrong again :) you could add some resistance to the vref input to give the output chance to catch...

    Phase Shift Oscillator

I wonder what does making each stage have an impeadance of 10 times more than the last section do? This quite common on cascaded filters without having buffers. Adam
