    New project: 4-1000A amp

As a ballpark figure I would calculate the resistor value to pass about 10 times the reverse leakage current found in the datasheet. Regarding an RF push pull configuration: I would consult the Radio Amateurs Handbook. Chris

    Uln2003 Stepper motor controller help

Hello Josh and welcome to EP. Please clarify this statement. db25 is a model topography that describes the physical design of a "D" type connector. If you're asking if you could control the steppers via a computer in lieu of a PIC then you'd be asking if serial port control would work. This...

    New project: 4-1000A amp

If you series stack 1N4007's you should shunt each diode with an identical and appropriate resistance value. This technique is also used with series stacked electros. Chris EDIT: Congratulations KK6FVT!

Why I want my old world back!

Actually, there's validity in that statement. ;) Chris

    Time delay relay or switch?

It's doubtful that you will find anything off the shelf that'll fit that requirement but we can instruct you how to fabricate it. Chris

Why I want my old world back!

I passed a disabled car on the shoulder of the road today. There was a young girl on her knees changing a flat while her boy friend, husband (?), whatever, stood there with his hands in his pockets! Chris

    3W LED. Why doesn't P=VI?

I see that the seller's location is Hong Kong. Pigeon English responses are not unusual. ;) Make sure you use Heat Sink Compound between the base of the LED and the heat sink. Failing to properly do so will render the heat sink less than fully effective. Chris

Charging a 26 Ah battery from 50% charge

That's impossible to answer without knowing the current capacity of your charger. Chris

    12v High Power FM Transmitter

Simplifies things! It sounds like you're using this like a wireless PA system. Is that what this is? Large commercial buildings usually have an extensive telephone system with gobs of unused pairs. Have you explored this? I did this in a very large hospital. Chris

running 230 V/50 Hz CLOCK in US?

Odd, I found this.. http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/h/hf3485_60/hf3485_60_dfu_cfr.pdf but there's no mention of 240V/50Hz. The .pdf only mentions 120V/60Hz. Chris

running 230 V/50 Hz CLOCK in US?

A decent 120VAC to 240VAC (yes it's not 230V) transformer might cost you more than the clock! I would also not rely on 12VDC to 120VAC converters to produce a clean or accurate 60Hz. Chris

    12v High Power FM Transmitter

We already know that the 15W you're transmitting is well above the legal limit in the UK or just about anywhere else for that matter. Aiding you to further exceed power limits would put Electronics Point in legal deep water. Chris
