Turn Signal and Side Marker in the one bulb?

Old English cars (Wolseley, Morris) used to do this (single filament-dual purpose) with the rear tail light. Maybe find something on the web there.

Need Help With Designing A Lithium Ion Battery Powered Delayed Power On Circuit

You can buy ready-make 555 variable delay on modules from Ebay complete with relay output for a couple of dollars.

Try Ebay. As you have dimensions etc.

mfd Cap compared to a uf Cap

Think you'd better re-check your maths.

    Looking for specific variable resistor

LM2917 would possibly be a good starting point. It's a frequency to voltage converter. More than likely circuits out there you could adapt to suit your needs.

    Max amperage for cable diameter

What will you use it for and what is the cable run length? I suspect you may be getting conflicting answers because of this.

    Pulling down 5V to ground

Yes but most engineering concepts would not look at using 2 sensor input when one ( engine temperature) is sufficient. (and they usually do as far as I have ever seen)

Clean 20Mhz square wave at 45 volts ... possible???

Gate capacitance is probably causing grief. Maybe use a mosfet driver?

Using 12v UPS battery for Arduino testbed

Over and under protection is something specific to your battery and associated circuitry. An Arduino project would be able to cover all possibilities but you will need to study up on that. Plenty of similar applications out there on the web. Perhaps even try a search in their forums.

    Pulling down 5V to ground

Seems a long way around. Most that I've seen just run a relay control from a temp sensing module. If temp within a certain range the fan runs. Simple. Cannot see why an ecu would have a mosfet continually powered as you say. Car speed would have little input I would imagine as it is primarily a...

    Float Charger

Seems you are unappreciative of #2 with your exclamation marks. You didn't ask originally about the transistor, just the capacitor. However, the transistor monitors current (RCL) and adjusts the regulator output to suit, depending on set point.( I would imagine)

Measuring magnitude and phase in an RC circuit

Monitor the voltage and output on serial monitor perhaps? The rest is your homework.

DC 15 seconds motor timer operated via push switch

Seems rather expensive for a simple mechanism. I would tend to go this way or similar. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3V-6V-DC-Short-Shaft-Torque-Gear-Box-Motor-Small-DC-Motor-Speed-Control-Board-/132165453741?hash=item1ec5acc7ad:g:8sIAAOSwDNdVk8kH Everything you need except power supply.(DC...

Using 12v UPS battery for Arduino testbed

Battery capacity is not an issue. Arduino and associated circuitry will draw only what they require under normal operation. Introduce a fault into the equation and it becomes another story so protect outgoing with perhaps a 1 or 2 amp fuse. Charging the battery will require some form of...

    magnetic switch/connector

A properly placed dc relay coil will do the same. A trip mechanism widely used inside earth leakage safety switches.
