    Ring Doorbell

I think one would need to know more about what this " doorbell kit" comprises to give an educated answer. 2amps is some bell.

Low Coolant Pressure Alarm Project - LM393 - your feedback is appreciated

When the systems leaks coolant , temperature and pressure increase so your whole idea cannot work. As far as probes are concerned, the resistance will not be zero without coolant but the opposite. There was a cure for the electrolysis action, gererate a type of ac signal to pass to the probes...

Vintage GE clock radio will not Power on fully

Do you have the meter on diode test to test the transistors? They need a certain amount of voltage/ current to turn on and give a reading which in most cases, the normal ohm scale will not provide. BTW, that board below looks all burnt up...

    Hydraulic Lift Desk Drawer

Depends largely on size but plenty of hobby style dc motor/gearbox units on ebay. These have a fairly high torque to begin with being dc motor but then amplified due to the gearbox. Could be further speed reduced via cogged (synchronous) belt drive and also torque increased once again. Beauty...

    EA2-12NJ low power relay question

Further look at the spec sheet does not mention internal diode BUT unless using it with other semiconductors, leave any external diode out, at least during initial setup.

    EA2-12NJ low power relay question

Photo is out of focus and does not show much. Perhaps one from a little futher back will help. A-up (ass up.....back-to-front) If that is a diode on the coil it is a-up also by the looks of it. Some of those relays already have an inbuilt diode for flyback voltage protection. Clearer pic will...

Coil is polarised ie pin 1 + ....pin 10 - .....orientation has a marker on top of the case showing pins 1 and 10 .... See spec sheet...... Sounds like you have it a-up......

    Solar Light Project, help please

Followed along the first paragraph but when you went to solar panels I had to wonder where you were going with this. I assume you want to recharge the LED supply battery with solar. Your figures are a bit off I'm afraid as 50mA load will run from an 18Ah battery a lot longer than 4 to 6 hours...

    Please help

Set up each wing with an independant "off-centre" hinge so the wing reverts to one state. (closed) Then attach a string through a bellcrank on each wing to the back of her shoes.:) Better I think than a pulse generator, batteries and servos.......
