Control Motor Wireless from laptop?

Hi, I would like to make a custom RC car, and would like to control it wirelessly from a laptop.

What Interface would be good to use, For controlling Motors, Servos, Motor speeds etc?.

You could use Bluetooth or wifi as the link between the PC and the car
I'm not sure which would be easier to program... not my field
