Digital Radar Speedometer ?????'s

Im looking at the circuit for the digital radar speedometer and while analyzing the circuit its doesnt specify exactly what kind of LED diode is needed for it to function. Can anyone help me with this????

What circuit are you referring to?

If you're stuck on what type of LED to use you might want to try something simpler.

Oh that circuit. Although I haven't built it I have little faith in the design. You can buy a Hot-Wheels speedgun from Wal-Mart for a few dollars.
