hacking an LC meter

I bought it to measure inductor values, and quickly realized it's not up for the job for most inductors

Before i open it up, i'm hoping i can modify it for low inductor values, should i quit now? lol

I would advise getting one of the cheap microcontroller based meters from eBay.

I had one of them, i tested a Ge Diode, it took out one of the atmega pins!

Figured i'd lift it out and swap for another chip, then tracking down the code to work with the pcb became the problem...

Maybe i'll buy another and avoid ge diodes lol
