ltspice

Hi

I have installed ltspice in my d:\ directory. But when I open ltspice from my desktop it creates a new directory under c:\ documents called LTspiceVXII. I was wondering is it possible to use the directory I created in my d:\ folder instead of creating a new in folder in c:\ documents. I would appreciate any help.

You can try manually entering required paths for LTSpice to remember.
Otherwise, the drive / folder you are attempting to write to orread from may need administrator privileges.
By default, the two EDA / ECAD suites I use save to and access the documents/{app} folder.
Try to change path as shown in examples below.
Also, apps such as these automatically create a user folder (C:\User\Documents\LTSpice ....) so that user does not corrupt installed program data (D.
