Hi,

I have Pioneer SX-424, and I want to buy Speaker Protection Board. But I dont know will it work ?

I want to install a speaker protection module in my Pioneer SX-424. The module requires an AC power source between 12V and 24V.

Does the power transformer in the SX-424 have a secondary winding that provides this voltage?

I want to buy this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...|x_object_id:1005009166826153|_p_origin_prod:

Thank you.

What exactly is your concern, that you want to add a speaker protection circuit?
when I turn on the receiver, I can hear pop in speakers.
also sometimes when i turn off, also i can hear pop in speakers.
from what i found, Pioneer SX-424 does not have Speaker Protection Board with delay.
so I want to install some kind Protection Board with delay for speakers.
with the aim that when I turn on the receiver, I don't hear a pop, the same when I turn off the receiver.

To see if that circuit could actually eliminate the speaker pop, disconnect the speakers before turning on the amp, and than connect the speakers after the amp has been on for a few seconds.
If there's no pop, then the module you referenced should eliminate the pop.
