If a multi-layered device has a missing component,
and you are capable of understanding the entire device and what it does, what are the chances of finding out what the device does, and bypassing or manufacturing something that will work?

My smart kegger fridge of course is missing something. I know that one connector has 2 pins and has purple and skyblue wires(2 on each pin) going into it. The other has orange, pink, gray and black going to it in the same configuration.

I would assume that the 2 pin connector is a switch or pass through of some kind and the other is the power/ ground and signal from(or too, to or two) the device. But where I am getting mixed up is in the double ended connections that everyone uses nowdays instead of terminators....
See back in the day, everything was signal, except for the terminals... and a terminator was required anywhere you didn't have a connection. (use all the pins, never leave a wire sticking out kind of a deal) yer tern wiseass!
