Bill, there's very little activity out here, but a few of us try to respond when a question comes up... depending what your question is. My own PHP 2026 is basically on life support. ;-)
Thank you for the quick note. We’ve been very happy with our unit as it has survived 4 different global moves. My chair has power and the seat will massage. I can’t get it to recline or the main massager working although I can hear a quiet clicking sound when I press the remote. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi again Bill. I don't know the answer and haven't (yet) seen anyone else respond.

I would recommend at least skimming through the many comments over the years in this forum to see if any may resemble your chair's symptoms. The post just below has been helpful to some of us, but not sure if it may pinpoint what you're inquiring about. And depending on your comfort level, these are steps you may not want to do. I did them anyway, figuring I had nothing to lose since my chair (at the time) was close to non-functional. The replacement part resolved my chair's problem, though now - years later - I'm dealing with pretty limited functionality with the controller.

As a side issue, I don't know why the response post dates are so weird in here. (My reply to you here is showing Sept. 17, 2019.)

Hi folks. I purchased a PHP 2026 twenty years ago. (I'm posting this on May 17, 2026. Not sure why the post is showing a date of Sept. 2019.)

It gave us relatively good performance, but has been declining over the past several years.

A few years ago, a key piece in the up & down "spine" for the massage arms broke, so that function is stuck in one place. Now the back of the chair has gone down and will not come back up. I suspect an internal motor, but am only speculating.

The problem is unlikely a need to replace the toroid transformer (as detailed elsewhere on this site), as I already did this successfully in 2019. Plus the symptoms are more limited this time.

Additionally, the material covering the massage arms wore out. I replace it twice, then finally with neoprene ... the material scuba divers use. That holds up. The seat is torn. And the controller has limited functionality.

Given all these issues, I'm throwing in the towel and providing the chair FREE for anyone either to try your expertise at repair or to simply use for replacement parts.

(Interesting that I finally met my match with the PHP 2026 in the year 2026.) ;)

Pics of the chair are attached.

Anyway, I live in the Atlanta, GA area. If you are interested in the chair and live close enough to make the drive with either a pickup truck or mini van, you're welcome to it. All or nothing...

I will even help you carry it to your vehicle. (If you already have one of these chairs, you know it's heavy...)
