Replace 680uf capacitor on a Vizio VW 42L LCD w/ a 1000uf capacitor

Need to replace a 35v 680uf 105° Capacitor on a Vizio VW42L FHDTV10A. Will a 35v 1000uf 105° work just fine. local radio shack don't carry the exact part.

presumably it's in the power supply section ?

in such cases increasing the value isn't a problem as long as it will fit into the same spot :)
and it also has the same or higher voltage rating

it's on the Inverter board. would it still be fine?

Are you assuming bad caps on the inverter board?
These TV's, apart from the 24v from the power supply also have a 5v 'turn on' from the main board. Bad caps on the main board can point to a dead inverter too..
Just my 2 cents..:)
