Hi Everybody!

I have been following the transmitter circuit of Audioguru and the various threads. It is no doubt very good and alas ..geeky! But what about us newbies....you are keeping us out!

Could anybody suggest a simple and sensitive AM room bug with a range of say, 200 feet.

Thanks!

the voyager bug sits on top of a 9 volts  battery and has a range of 8 or 900 feet, you can view these bugs and more in the talking electronics site on the net

Anybody can make my FM transmitter. I made it by improving a simple one that had complaints of its very poor performance.

The AM broadcast band uses radio frequencies one-hundredth the frequencies of the FM broadcast band, so the transmitter needs an antenna of about 300 feet long. If a shorter antenna is used then its power must be increased to compensate then a battery will not last very long.

Thanks!
