AJB2K3 Posted September 23, 2004 Report Share Posted September 23, 2004 there are (building wise ) two different types of dectecto, powered and un powered but both work the same.A basic intruder alarm has 12V supply +bat backup12v op for powered devices,NC tamper loop NC detector loop.Alarm output.***************A diagram will be up by monday 27th**************Zone1 = triditionaly entry/exit = when dector is open a timer starts if the detector circuit is not closed the alarm triggers.Tamper= all device have tamper conectors if a case is open or cable cut alarm sounds.Zone2-n NC circuits= id dector circuits open, alarm rings.If the circuit is wanted i will put a rush order on the design.
