PEU
Hi, this is my 1st post in the forum. Is there any circuit/PCB available to measure milivolts, like the 3161/3162 or 7106 with the option to send that info via rs232 using a max232 or similar? Thanks
MP
RS232 is a communication protocol. You will need something to implement this. Since you are talking about millivolts, I would use a micro with an Analog to Digital Voltage converter built in.MP
PEU
Hi MP, thanks for the reply, is there any project like the one you described in the forum?
Kevin Weddle
Any of the electronics devices can be used in the millivolt range. In fact the uV range. They are presumed very accurate in terms of the voltage they exhibit. When you say measure, I am assuming you want to convert the voltage to a display. So you might use a device set to trigger at a threshold. This is a comparator. Not an opamp but a special opamp. An assortment of these will create a window of voltage for you.
