audioguru
Hi Guys,I have been shopping for high-capacity Ni-Mh re-chargeable batteries. I know that the AA cells have a capacity that is about 4.4 times what the old Ni-Cads had, but I need more.In the good old days, a D cell Ni-Cad had 8 times the capacity of an AA cell. So I thought that a D cell Ni-Mh cell would have lots of capacity. Wrong! A D cell Ni-Mh has exactly the same capacity as an AA Ni-Mh cell, but costs 4 times as much!It is nothing but a big, nearly empty D-size tin can with a little AA cell inside. audioguru
Hi Ante,Your shop has a good battery. I think that I have been looking at too many American manufacturers. Sanyo has one that is 9000ma/hr but they are not available in small quantities.I can't remember which of my suppliers sells a European battery, Saft or something. Which manufacturer is yours?
