bellychery05
I would like to construct a signal waveform generator. Here i contain an op-amp and a oscilator.please assist me on how i can get to design and construct it.I do appreciate your assistance. audioguru
I guess you don't want to use a precision but simple ICL8038, XR20x6 or MAX038 waveform generator IC like I used about 25 years ago.In Google, lookup Wien Bridge Oscillator circuit and you will find many circuits like the generator I built last year and similar to my very 1st project that I built more than 40 years ago. Kain
Audioguru, where do youfind datasheet for XR20x6? I tryed to google it, but nothing came up... ::)
audioguru
Audioguru, where do youfind datasheet for XR20x6? I tryed to google it, but nothing came up... ::)Sorry, it is (was) XR2206 but I don't think it is made anymore. Its datasheet is here:http://www.datasheetarchive.com/semiconductors/download.php?Datasheet=2327414
Kain
Oh ok. It seems like the best of the 3 is the MAX038 anyways. Good thing I got it as sample some time ago ;D
Kevin Weddle
My test lab uses an 8038. The output goes to an opamp followed by an emitter follower pole. That circuit really holds up to abuse! I waste transistors all the time, but that circuit never causes any trouble.
