Two channel embedded audio module

Recommended Posts

Im curreltly building a slot machine. and i need a embedded audio board to create the sound.

> The board will talk to my main slot machine controller using i2c or 1 wire or what ever.
> It needs to have ONE mono output (i can connect to a simple amp)
> It needs to have 2 internal channels you it can play 2 samples at the same time.
> Needs to read the samples from either a SD card or USB, i dont mind / dont mind what format.
> needs to have 2 busy flags, so i know when the samples are complete

I  cant seam to find a device that can play 2 samples at once there are loads of embedded audio modules that play 1 at a time but not 2 :(

Any ideas of the best way to achieve this?

Thanks

ur second solution is what im thinking at the moment, would defiantly be the simplest.

seams a bit nasty having 2 sd cards though.

i would love to build some sort of device with 1 sd card / 1 PIC connected to two mp3 decoders or some thing with maybe a built in simple amp

i dont have enough electrical knowledge to build such a device though hehe
