ok so do you know the schottky diode with the lowest voltage drop rating in LTspice
Nice wiki by the way!

Could you suggest the schottky diode with a low voltage drop please? so in the e12 series of resistor I can choose between 150k and 180k the value I want is 165k that is perfect, its fine I can use 150k+15k

Hello,

The value of 165K may be ok for the simulation.
You will have to adjust the value again in the live situation with the real mic.

so I have the caps to make the 16000Hz and resistors and the TL074's the LM3914's Still need protoboard and the caps for the 45Hz to 7000Hz one I can make the Pre-Amp though and need to buy the schottky diodes still, and would like to know the best one for my purposes (envelope detectors) also have the bar graph LED's got the mic there and ready too

Hello,

As for the schottky diode, you could try a BAT43.
That is one with wires and not SMD as many others.

I dont have BAT43 in my library, so I've used a BAT46 the results are good!!

so I built the second filter and its perfect it filters out the 45Hz and does not let 45Hz pass through!1702415989483.png1702415940990.png1702415883782.png

Hello,

Why do you need a 20 Watt load?

As for the filters, you only need one amplifier:

it's for another project posted in the wrong thread any wa R=v^2/P so for 20watts load with voltage at 52v the resistor equals 135
I'm going over to the other thread now!

the sim box is going ultra slow but it's not dropping out I dont think I will be able to put all the filters in one schematic to be honest I recon I need a faster pc laptop!

Hello,

The sim will need a lot of resources to run.
Larger memory will already make a difference.
My home computer has 32 GB of internal memory.

Why would you?
Simulate one filter after the other. A faster PC will help, but only to a limited extent.
because I wanted to play a tune and see the filters working with the music, it isn't nessessary just though it would be cool!
