    Sourcing a Trigger Switch

I see that you have also posted on DIY/tool forums looking for this switch. You have been asked for details on the tool the switch is fitted to, but have not responded to these requests. My suggestion would be to give us details of the tool, otherwise most people are just going to give up on...

    Pressure Transmitter

The system consists of a closed loop from the output of the pressure transducer to the PLC input, through an internal resistor in the PLC to the input ground, and back to the ground on the transducer. The pressure transducer creates a variable current in this loop of between 4mA and 20mA...

Fixing an old car century battery charger

I have done this before on old battery chargers. You could parallel a couple of 50A bridge rectifiers to be safe. The charger is probably just a 10A charger that will supply 55A for a short time to jump start an engine with a flat battery?

    MOSFET 12VDC Relay?

Sorry, but I can't see the real advantage of replacing simple reliable relays with a cobbled together electronic circuit that is likely to cause issues. Fitting another solar charging system might be a better alternative?

Scratched enamel on automotive alternator wire

Varnish, shellac, or urethane spray can be used. Normally I would dismantle and clean the alternator if really filthy. Also allows checking of brushes to see how much life is left in them. No use fitting the alternator if the brushes are just about worn out.

hi need help with a dc charging issue

Yes, removing the 12v load will solve the battery charging imbalance. You still really need to hook all the batteries up as a 12v bank and charge them to even them out. I see you are in the UK, so you should be able to get a reasonably priced 24v-12v reducer for your 12v load. The electronics...

hi need help with a dc charging issue

Drawing current off the centre of a 24v battery bank is a recipe for disaster, unless there is a means to replace this current. Your R/H batteries will go flat, and the L/H batteries will be overcharged. First thing to do is remove all the batteries from the boat. Connect all four batteries in...

    My life was a lie

"Before the load" to me would mean the transistor is configured as a "source", and "after the load" as a "sink". Terms such as "emitter follower" and "open collector" always have me scratching what hair I have left to figure out what is going on.:)

Wifi router does not turn on after outage (not what you think please read)

Do any lights come on when the router doesn't go? Are you connecting it directly to the other outlets to test without the surge protector? Might be time for a new router? Also probably get a UPS if you are having power cuts.

Diode that only allows continuity at 13.5v ?

Looks like you have the three wires sorted as to what they are. S - Battery sense(large white). Should be +12v on this one at all times. IG - Ignition(yellow). 12v with key on ignition. L - Alternator charge light(black/white). Grounded through alternator to turn light on. Does the light go...
