    Load Balancing.

lately I've been thinking of wiring up several regulators so I've been searching for circuits.. using this attached circuit, what keeps 1 regulator from working harder than the other? is it a result of the 2 diodes and their vf drop? or is it due to the large capacitor(s)? I'm just not sure...

    Designed a 10watt LED driver...

with a bit of tweaking, this should drive a 10watt LED of 12v, a couple of pots might be a better idea in real life. But this circuit has current limiting, and will limit the LED to less than 800ma.

Smt construction brought up bad memories... Carefully getting out the smd components, then once you have them 10 seconds later they're gone!

    Why I don't like arduino.cc

I would say use the arduino forum but as of late I was banned for defending myself against a bully and after Masizmo (founder of Arduino) removed my ban I was left with an ip ban... This is what followed from a mod... Long story short, the mods allow members to bully and when I'd retaliate...

    An interesting 1w flasher.

http://www.edn.com/design/led/4432212/HB-LED-flashing-beacon-repurposes-switching-regulator Basically for less than 5 bucks off ebay you can buy 50 off them the mcp4063 is cheap and that's why I like this 1watt flasher because of it's inbuilt current limiter circuit.. Not yet built it, but...

    2.7v 200F Super Capacitors

Remember i'm simply drawing current to charge with, i'm not expending the cap's energy to "spot weld"

    SN74HC14N hex inverter.

http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/27890/TI/SN74HC14N.html I bought these by accident thinking they were a different IC completely.. So what's the deal with these? what's the basic principal ? Apply 5v and get a 0v out? - I can't find a circuit to demo this IC anywhere. -...

"wireless data transmission in the terahertz band"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-18072618 Yeah but.... is it really going to be that useful? lol, NFC replacement sure... but that's worrying to think that 1 day, all your data could be copied as you walked past.

How much Hydrogen and Oxygen released..

How much Oxygen/Hydrogen per Volt/Amp (Watt) are we talking to get enough to say run a car tank on? ... Wondering what kind of power we're talking of we used huge solar mirrors to reflect heat onto a tower to boil water, the steam is sent through a turbine which splits water into oxygen and...

    HelpAChinaMan.com

Help A China Man .com I Was thinking, how about this for an idea, no the website does not exist? (or does it? i've not looked lol, it looks unused.. (for how long lol)... but the name does not mean anything because it's just the starting point. Basically, for every freedom of internet...

    pc reset/led/hd cables..

I'm looking for a place that sells just the little black (jumper size) connectors for motherboards, so i can run a cable from the LED power out or for that matter anything (with header pins) .. but can i find these? no .. is there a proper name for them? I have a relay with 5 header pins, so...

    More efficient SMPS IC?

for a long time I wondered how my PSU switches from 240vac down to Xvolts. So being ignorant as i can be, I just assumed, if you want 12vdc, there was some kind of IC that would deliver voltage only when the AC voltage (at50/60hz) between 1vac and 12vac meaning you only draw current for a...

Basic theory of DC > DC (Boost)

I bought a couple of 5 pins step up, and i don't need with the circuit, easy enough i just can't get my head around it. I can understand how step down works, eg, take 15volts, oscillate at a high frequency and reduce the voltage coming out and smooth it through a cap.... but going up? All...

    Relay "Ratings"

Never really fully understood this... a relay with specs of "7 amps @ 240volts" or... "120vac @ 12amps" be 1amp at 120volts (120 watts) or 240volts at 0.5amps (120 watts) that's the max the relay will allow, but higher the voltage the less current and less heat?... eg, imagine boiling a...

    LLPS

Has yet to be invented? or has it.. what would it take to hook up 3 sensors of some kind that is able through the use of the other 2 sensors triangulate your position in a room?... has it been done? i was thinking 3 ultrasonic pules with a delay between each one measuring your distance or...

Very simple, downside is, if you have cancer, sorry, it's too late for our generation... our not yet born children yes they'll be safe if this idea / thought of mine takes on, i hope it does and as long as some credits me with this "idea" then i'd be happy, i have no other interest except to be...

    Lightning Detector.

I came across this Circuit... I don't really understand the role of the 555, the 555 is set to monostable/1 shot, when current is inducted to the 4ft long copper wire, the voltage/current goes through this circuit, but why would you use the 555 trigger pin for a single pulse? why not...

    Laptop's Extra Heat Issue.

I don't have a laptop lol, but I can't help but feel that heat could easily be used for something else.... ah yeah, how about a metal plate that attaches nicely to the laptop base, that base is actually now a little metal box you can place your dinner, after 40 minutes, it goes ping, you...
