    I have same problem printing pcb file using DesignSpark5 pcb software. I solved by adding PDF printer in Windows. Then Print Setup and select added PDF printer. Print your pcb file and select Windows in Printer Output Menu. Don't select PDF. Hope this help. Let me know if it works.

    I hope that the design engineer did not forget to place traces on unused input pin of 40106. Can you post pcb side of the board. Showing traces on 40106. ic 40106 heats up if damage by static disharged.
