    Doesn't work like that, slowing it down by any means will not "save you power".

    Trying to slow it down will do next to nothing for you. The inverter efficiency would attribute more to that than the fan. Forget resistors, they will do nothing either. Same goes for any capacitor on the ac side. Get a bigger battery or, failing that, one of those manual ones with the palm fond.

    Again, I am fairly certain the Op simply wants to turn an external pot and have the servo follow the pot settings......much like a servo tester...... nothing to do with feedback.

    Ignition for moped

    One can buy a cdi unit in a variety of power supply applications to suit whatever your bike produces. Cheap as on Ebay etc. 12v dc...or supply via 400dc or ac from alternator. Some will even work with existing p/u coils. Common for the cdi to fire after controlled delay, not the way you describe...
