Yes, Dunlite in Qld, only today so I'll give it a few days.

    Dunlite 240VAC 1 phase alternator

Trying to track down any info on a particular Dunlite alternator, in particular any schematics of both the exciter and alternator and controls. Came fitted to an old Lister single cylinder 6hp diesel. Being an old Aussie built unit, I was kind of surprised at the very little amount I could find...

A car air conditioning based on STONE TFT LCD

I'd say start with a block doagram of all the necessary interface units and work from there.

Creating a 9VDC adaptor for my multimeter.

Should be ok. If you use an adaptor, you could avoid the need to splice anything. Get one the size to fit your power adaptor plug. Just watch and test polarity "before" plugging in.

RCU 12v Light Switches for a Aussie expat in Pattaya!

Fine for that if it only requires a voltage free set of contacts but you will need to determine if it is changeover or momentary action. Also you mentioned lighting up the mech which will require hard wiring mods which is why I asked for specs/schematics to determine voltage level.

    Does anybody here do photonics/optoelectronics?

Simply one small branch of electronics.

RCU 12v Light Switches for a Aussie expat in Pattaya!

There is a LOT more to that system than you realise and my educated guess would be your reference part would be in no way compatible. If you need to advance, you will need spec sheets and schematics of the system and be prepared to do some hard wiring.

Controlling current on a welding transformer.

Yes, we can help those to help themselves. It is clear you have very little experience in electrical or electronics so there's no point really. We do not do free design or re-design work on a whim. There is really no point to your project and it is clear it would be uneconomical.

Controlling current on a welding transformer.

As you say, 150A, difficult and more importantly, expensive to control transformer output current at this level. Without any experience with such things as it appears you are, otherwise you wouldn't be here asking, the design and outcome would be rather iffy to say the least. Best option would...

Controlling current on a welding transformer.

Output current is commonly controlled by moving the core in or out as required. Not your unit...???? Best show what you have before any comment on changing to DC.

Hi-pot test to 3 phase electric appliance

Any megger testing I've done is with a DC meter, not AC and normally one phase at a time to ground and phase to phase or neutral in cabling. Usual range of meter output 500vdc for up to 440vac appliance and 1000vdc for up to 5000vac installation. Great care and strict routine required for any...

Basic electronics advice needed, regarding room temperature quantum bit design.

Reading a pot is ok but I thought you were talking analog sensors. As I said, too hard to follow what it is you need. Either do a block diagram or a flowchart. Appears you want to set a reference level via a pot and then use a sensor to give feedback...?? Might be a good idea not to start...
