    Led bar graph

    Maybe just 1 if multiplexed.

    Led bar graph

A tip might be to run the LED's at a lower current perhaps 5mA. Would still be visible indoors.

    Battery charger low output

I doubt the tranny is defective, I'd go more to the switches and push on connectors. Cleaning might have improved the situation but perhaps not completely. Only a voltage test on load would determine that. Just be aware that is mains voltage present on both switches. EDIT: other switch on the...

If the wheels are plastic hub, perhaps some conduit "slippery lube" ....... o_O

    Led bar graph

Circuit to do what you want with discretes would get complex really quickly. You can cascade the LM3914 together and use possibly a couple of decade counters etc. Reset no drama. Others may be of more assistance with reference to a circuit...

    Battery charger low output

Wire diagram is of little assistance. Circuit diagram is a different thing. Chances of getting one fairly slim I would imagine. If weather affected, look for signs of weather damage.e.g. bad connections, damage to any printed circuit board. Meter out switches to see if working as they should...

    Electronics Moron Needs Help

Hehehe...ok...fair enough.:):) These days I make bits like that in the lathe BUT there were times when I didn't have a lathe. Those days I'd use some emery tape with the bits held in vice grips and my number 10 firmly planted on the top using the steps of the house. Actually emery tape still...

    Solenoid constant power supply

Probably best to use something that is already established like for example, a solenoid from an automotive central locking system. Would be cheap-as from a car wreckers and pretty much guaranteed to work. I'd tend to stay away from being continuously powered as there are very few solenoids that...

    Electronics Moron Needs Help

No worries, Curious though, what is a " .091,2 ,3 diameter Pinewood derby racing axles ". Heard many years ago about full race chrome dipsticks but never the axles.:):)

    Where is the problem?

Nope...asked for the original link as I'm certain you've mistaken some part somewhere, or it's come from some shonky site.

    Electronics Moron Needs Help

I have a similar unit to this only 220v version for here in Aus. I would hesitate to plug this unit into a triac controller as the dremel already has an internal speed regulator. Even if one were to set this internal speed control to maximum and the regulate via external new unit, bad things...

Thanks for that...now I am totally confused. You do see where we are going with this....??

    Detecting horizontal position

Bit of confusion here but what is with the two sets of code? First is for an accelerometer and second for the tilt switch approach. Are you trying to combine the two? Had very little to do with accelerometers so can't comment there but in the second code, a small error in comments (neither here...

How to fix Ribbon cable LCD ?

Now that's a new way of saying you broke it. These displays very rarely ever go back together in a way where they work the same as before. Unless the ribbon is actually broken somewhere( I can't see any) then ribbon is probably ok. Ribbon is generally a proprietary line.

    Where is the problem?

So you are saying that you have redrawn it incorrectly then...???? Transistors in your drawing are shown as 2N3504 which are, as I pointed out, PNP. However you have the drawing showing NPN. Also your board shows 2n3904. So basically more errors than you think.

    Where is the problem?

Did you redraw this circuit or is it as originally supplied....??
  18. B

    Where is the problem?

2N3504 transistors are PNP not NPN as shown in your drawing. I see you have 2N3904 in the board wiring which are NPN but it still raises the question on the original drawing and what you have changed.

    Multimeter DT9205A problem

This video, apparently no semi is installed in that location. 0:54 in the video. Appears to be several variations on the same model number for schematics.
