Help measuring resistance of fuse with this multimeter

Glass or blade fuses do corrode at times but it's usually visibly obvious. Original test might be referring to the fusable link which makes more sense.

    Unknown capacitor.

This seems to be the same brand for reference...... higher voltage but no matter ... https://ee.farnell.com/epcos/b32653a4684k000/cap-film-pp-680nf-400v-rad/dp/9751351 As far as I can see if a 330nf I referred to above suits the 220v input range then it stands to reason that a 680nf would...

    Unknown capacitor.

Ones on 220v here are 330nf 400v. if you're on 110 then maybe 200-250v like others have said.

Photo and a measurement ( ruler will do) of the inside and outside diameter. There may be a couple of different lengths as well. below is the only 5.5 x 2.5 mm short lead i could find...

    Unknown capacitor.

Almost every mains driven timer, daylight switch etc. etc. seem to employ this arrangement these days. In my experience there is zero visible evidence of failure, just a weak reading on the cap ( out of circuit). Managed to get many up and operational again during holiday season or after hours...

    Maytag Dryer Board Repair

If you have little to zero knowledge /experience with soldering, I would advise against your having a "crack at it" so-to-speak. It is fairly straight forward to order the replacement switch. Problems start when in some instances, the tracks on the board can be rather a pain. Mostly due to the...

    Newbie scope question

I'd be inclined to add some extra insulation on the jaws of the pickup. Older leads especially can fire straight through the ht lead given even a hint of an earth return and the first you'll know about it is when the scope goes blank.(forever)

Question about how to wire this power

To cut down on the number of add on modules, there are available 18650 cells with protection circuit already built-in. As with any of these bought from China, be cautious of the ones claiming large capacity (4000-5000mah) for a couple of dollars each...

Question about how to wire this power

So you want the amp to keep running on battery power when the mains supply fails? Is that the intention?

Any through-hole microcontrollers which are programmable via USB?

Why..? It's not as though it is difficult to connect or expensive to buy. Most Arduino have the chip on-board or if you go to ProMini, then as above. PicKit actually already has an add on zif socket that covers a mass of chip sizes for programming. I don't see where the "uhhh...soooo hard" comes in.

    Microcontroller LED project.

You ask for assistance then argue the point. Additionally, mosfet size is hardly an issue when it is less than the size of one standard led.
