    charger for Cordless phone battery.

Hi fever, You wanted a simple one, just leave it on and the pack will always be full when you need it. If you go for a “ready LED” circuit things starts to get complicated.

    Specialized Power Supply

Hi rocket, A guy named Ohm once decided that U=R*I and R=U/I and I=U/R.  ;D And I agree!

Hi fever, Welcome to our forum, You could use an LM317 setup as a constant current regulator at 15mA and just leave it on 24/7!

    SAFETY first!

Ouch, sounds very painful! It’s SAFE to say that we all learn from these mistakes from time to time! This proves that you don’t have to be zapped to be hurt by electronic devices!  ;)

    what is capacitor function

Hi guys, Yes, that’s probably the intended purpose which makes it a lousy excuse for a well needed Schmitt trigger here. 8)

    220V to 110V

Hi felto, I don’t know where you live or where you are able to get stuff from but here are a few links: http://www.happcontrols.com/powersupplies/80004400.htm http://www.starkelectronic.com/st500.htm http://www.walkabouttravelgear.com/reverse.htm http://www.action-electronics.com/trnsupdn.htm...

    Specialized Power Supply

Hi rocket, Even if the voltage is as you put it “out of the picture” we must still know the voltage range in which you want a constant current. What kind of circuit is this going to power, does it have a constant internal resistance?

    Heater blanket

Well, it sounds like we could put the “S” marking on it as soon as the silicone has dried!  ;)

    Spark Circuit

Hi, Small is relative, what do you consider small? Would an ignition coil from a motorcycle and four D-cells with a switch be small? ;)

    Specialized Power Supply

Hi gogo, Yes, the formula is right there on the drawing (Ohms Law) but I would use at least twice the calculated wattage eg. for 3A I pick a 0R4 - 3W resistor (1.2W calculated).

    Heater blanket

Hi, Car A/C service? Haven’t checked your outside temperature lately? ;D I don’t think this would in any way compensate for the voltage. But it might be as an extra safety measure. How much current is put trough the circuit? It might be possible that at 3A or a little less these switches are...

    220V to 110V

Hi felto, What you need is a step up transformer 110V to 230-250V and rated at least 250VA.

    6V LED Chaser Question

So, that’s the reason! :o  I thought it had something to do with the ground plane effect on the copper side, stupid me! ;D ;D
