VOIP setup for paging system to a warehouse horn

Well the TS said he had the system working over a year ago and we haven't heard from him since, so I think he's ok.

That leads me to your Google Drive, which I can't access.

Sorry. That's another of your statements that make no sense to me.

    Speaker output ohmage without information.

Yes. But as I stated, the output impedance of a typical solid-state audio amp is very low (<1 ohm). For an audio amp, being rated for an 8 ohm load doesn't mean its output impedance is 8 ohms.

As an added note, solid-state amps are designed to deliver the maximum power to the speakers that the amp power supply can deliver, so trying to maximize the power by matching output and load impedances would overload the supply.

It may be for tube amps where the tube has a very high impedance compared to the speaker, but not for solid state amps. Solid-state amps have a low output impedance, well below the speaker impedance, to maximize efficiency not power output. The maximum power transfer "sweet spot" gives a 50%...

    Speaker output ohmage without information.

Interesting, but I think that's just a coincidence. The speaker impedance is selected to get the maximum power from typical amplifier designs, along with the limitations of speaker voice-coil design. Tube amps typically had a tapped output transformer for 4, 8, and 16 ohm speakers...

    Speaker output ohmage without information.

Now days 8Ω seems to be the sweet spot, but some are 4Ω to get more power from a fixed low supply voltage, such as a vehicle battery. Speakers for tube amps were sometimes 16Ω, but not common now since solid-state amps can more easily deliver more power to a lower resistance (and thus higher...

And in my IMHO, your rambling dissertation about damping factor did nothing to change that the answer to the TS's question is still unequivocally "No".

    Speaker output ohmage without information.

The design output speaker impedance is determined by the maximum peak current and voltage the amp can simultaneously deliver without significant distortion. You would need to know that to determine its rated impedance. It can be determined by using a variable resistance power load resistor to...

    Speaker output ohmage without information.

No. There's nothing you can measure on an amp's speaker output terminals to determine the speaker impedances it can drive. The output impedance of modern solid-state amps when powered is a fraction of an ohm. When unpowered it could be anything. Only the oldy tube amps had an output impedance...

Why would you think it should work with a shorted resistor? You don't replace, it, you just remove the short.

Can someone suggest me an upgrade for my car that doesn’t require any wire cutting or voids insurance and warranty, but still gives an excellent econo

What year is your car? Modern cars are pretty well optimized for both performance and fuel economy. If you do anything to improve its power, than you will likely get poorer economy.

    2.4v NICAD CHARGER?

Below is a CC-CV charger using the common LM317 regulator and TLV431 programmable voltage reference: It charges the batteries at 210 mA constant-current and limits the charge voltage to 3V. The TLV431 limits the voltage when the Vref voltage from the R1/R3 divider reaches 1.24V.

Backyard DIY Auto Repair and Backyard DIY Electronics Repair

One difference to me between electronics and mechanics, is that mechanics would seem more visually "intuitive". For example, you can likely pretty well understand how common vehicle engines work, and what all the parts do when you take them apart, if you understand the basic 4-stroke Otto or...
