PS-LX350H Sony Turntable no motor movement

Nope - not exploded. Just held down with nasty looking glue and insulated by some crappy tape - what a poor 'mod'!!! Are you supposed to get 6V out of the transformer? and are you getting it now? Post pics of the whole board and the wiring to/from it.

Basic: Trying to hookup 20v Decker lithium battery - to a 20V four wire Hoover vacuum. Same parent company.

Can you show the reverse side of the connector board (from the battery)? The fact the the reverse of the main board contains 'oodles' of electronics makes a difference and you should have shown that initially too. Don't 'hide' anything else we get led down the wrong path.

Need help with battery charger circuit

There is lots of information on that battery charger/controller board - see this link https://www.best-microcontroller-projects.com/tp4056.html Note the text in the big red box though......

a adapter from a candlestick light switch to a 2 gang/channel light switch. (More info in description)

All we need to know is that the diagram shows live and neutral going to the light plate as per the snapshot below. There is no neutral at most light switches therefore the device cannot be installed unless provision for such is made. Note, the image shown is the 2C unit that can control two...

High voltage 12 volts applied to 5 volt Nixie clock - damage? Can it be fixed? ?

Shame really. Most of the active devices are in sockets so they could have easily been changed... Please post a close up of the area around the power socket. There are components there that might form some sort of input voltage protection, in which case all may not be lost!

Can this ceiling fan remote be fixed?

Good spot! Missed that! The SAW device will set the transmit frequency which must also match an equivalent device in the receiver. I can almost see some markings on the top of the SAW device - can you tell us what it actually reads?

Can this ceiling fan remote be fixed?

Whilst true, the usual cause for failure is the push buttons themselves and if they work (as per the OP saying the LED glows when the buttons are operated) the odds on the rest of the electronics failing is fairly remote. All said, my latest reply above should sort it out once and for all.

Can this ceiling fan remote be fixed?

That 'SAW' device is a Surface Acoustic Wave device (a filter) that sets the operating frequency - usually in the 433MHz band (could be different of course) - but the LED 'glow' is actually the LED pulsing on/off very fast sending the appropriate code to the receiver. The possible faults are...

Sound not coming in Rotel RSP-1572

Obvious place to go would be eBay else I'd look at specialist audio forums (google) and ask there as someone may be more 'in to' this stuff than I am and might even be breaking a set for other reasons. Good luck in your search.

Sound not coming in Rotel RSP-1572

Get a second opinion. Unfortunately you need some 'sophisticated' test equipment (an oscilloscope preferably) to do your own testing. If the service centre you took it to is reputable (by word of mouth) then you might have to take their advice at face value and stump up the cost. A potential...

a adapter from a candlestick light switch to a 2 gang/channel light switch. (More info in description)

It is..... and the switchplate incorporates a built-in relay to power the load/light so the requirement for a live, neutral AND load (output) at the switchplate can't be overcome.

Can this ceiling fan remote be fixed?

Look at the Infra-red LED (the clear one on the end of the remote sender) through a mobile phone camera and see if it 'glows' - if it does then the transmitter is probably ok. The most likely issue is at the fan - is the receiving sensor clear of dirt etc. Does the fan respond at all to the...

No, I can't help you based on the drawing you supplied. It does not provide enough information. Post a picture of the actual arrangement and show the actual wiring in use.

PSoC1 CY8C26443 lying around. Should I throw them away?

Pretty limited (options) I suppose. Not that the device isn't very capable but it's not exactly 'mainstream' so other than one-off DIY applications it's not likely to end up as a common solution for anything other than what you want to develop yourself. Code isn't transportable either so it's...

a adapter from a candlestick light switch to a 2 gang/channel light switch. (More info in description)

Lighting circuits may use a single-pole switch in the live feed line to the pendant (ceiling) light - a common situation in many households. This means that, at the wall switch, there is no NEUTRAL supply connection. LIVE comes down from the lighting cable, passes through the switch contacts...
