    Symbols on tv screen

You may have selected an 'external input source' as the signal to be displayed and if there isn't one connected to that input then the screen shows nothing and appears to do even less..... Do you have the instructions for the remote? You can usually download them from the manufacturers site...

What type of battery is good for emergency power for blackouts?

Your power requirements are approximately: 1. 2-3W 2. 2-5W 3. 1-3W 4. 1-5W 5. 50-120W Worst case is around 140W but that assumes all items in use, all the time. Realistically you would be looking at the lower end of the range so around 60W. This is a 'piddling' amount in terms of battery...

Switched Mode Power Supply/Switching Power Supply (SMPS)

Component part 'suffix' notifications can refer to small design changes, type of package and other factors but the 'generic' part number CM6800 is likely to be the same part across the range of suffixes provided the 'package' is identical. You can only really tell by studying the manufacturers...

Help repairing Samsung VHS/DVD Combo - No power

The 'buzzing' tells me that the supply is constantly cycling through boot-up - and failing due to a problem on the SECONDARY side. If you can remove the PSU as a module and test it with just an AC mains input (appropriate precautions to be taken of course) you might find it boots properly and...

Have a 3D model street and building. My Model Car passes by and an LED lights up in the model house.

If the vehicles are wide enough then place magnets on the left, middle and right sides of the vehicles and reed relays connected to the lights as appropriate. If you want the lights to remain on for any length of time (after the vehicle has passed) then you will need to fit monostable (delay)...

    Motor control 3.7v

Show schematic but I suggest it is the inability of your transistor to fully saturate as being the cause.

Building an analogue wind direction meter

The 'display' side is and always has been the difficult part of such a device and your original idea to use synchro's is the 'correct' way to go. It's possible to use a stepper motor to do this (more readily available) but they require complicated interfacing and most likely some programming...

What type of battery is good for emergency power for blackouts?

We live (relatively) remotely and frequently suffer power outages due to trees on the lines and having at least ONE portable generator makes life so much more 'relaxing' during those periods. Very quick and easy to set up - wire a change-over switch and external socket to further simplify the...

Building an analogue wind direction meter

Many of the amateur electronics magazines have had the run-of-the-mill wind speed/direction projects published in the in the past and there have been numerous iterations of the principle. There are the analogue scale devices, simple 'digital' devices and even non-moving parts devices (some...

How can one regulates DC voltage automatically to the voltage required by an appliance using micro-c

These are already very common and readily available. Does your system offer something that others don't? If you are (I'm guessing here as your post wasn't that clear on the issue) trying to make a system that automatically senses the required voltage and adjusts accordingly - you can't.....

Is it possible to use barometer module using UARTS?

The only return path from the drone is (probably) your video signal - do you have a bi-directional data path otherwise? If all you have is video then putting the data on the video signal ( as well as getting it out again) won't be an easy task by any stretch...

24vAC to 9vDC: half wave regulator input?

Use a switching (buck) regulator - more efficient (i.e. less heat) and straight from (hi)volts input to (needed)volts output with subsidiary linear regulator(s) for the incidental output voltages.

Solar power 12 volt car windscreen washer pump (Time Adjustable)

A 'minutes' counter operating a 5-10 second monostable and switching a PWM driver would fit the bill. Mounted inside an IP65 (or better i.e. IP66, IP67, IP68) housing for environmental purposes. A design with a small solar panel on the outer lid, feeding an 18650 lithium cell with appropriate...

What type of battery is good for emergency power for blackouts?

....propane? Less prone to degradation, easier to store/transport (containers are 'built-in'), variable size containers, can be used 'directly' for hot water and cooking etc. There are propane powered generators around and also propane conversion kits. As per @davenn the actual answer depends...

Is it possible to use barometer module using UARTS?

Wouldn't any barometric senor be required to be fitted in the drone rather than the controller? Either way, the signal from the barometer would need to be interfaced (programmed) into the controlling software which, if you don't have the coding for, will be almost impossible to achieve.

    Tabuchi PCB repair

Either a fuse or an inductor. - either way there should be a conducting path through it. If it is an inductor (500μH - guessing) then fitting a fuse instead won't cause any problems. But DO fit a fuse (500mA) and not a shorting link, as it may be affording protection to the rest of the circuitry.

    Tabuchi PCB repair

Could be a fuse - 500mA. We'd need to see pictures of the part and it's placement in respect to other components to clarify this answer. If it IS a fuse, it blew for a reason - yet to be determined......

MIC4609 Mosfet Driver Current spike on Enable

Another thought... The enable input is pulled low by an internal resistor. It's not being driven by a port with an internal pull UP resistor is it?
