    I think you are missing the point Martin. Every item or device on a vehicle have the same common chassis ground. It is the 'noise being amplified that is causing the issue. The isolator will work between the audio out and audio in. Martin

    Ok, why not use the recommended charger then? The isolator I linked to before will definitely work. It has a 1:1 transformer inside. You can buy them with 3.5 jacks too. Martin

    I agree. That is what I said in his other post. You might want to consider pwm controller for the servos. I am sure you probably have a micro controller amongst your wires and breadboards! Martin

    Martin, Can you tell me how it's connected? Is the android phablet connected to the head unit AUX via 3.5 jacks? And is the charger a 12v car cigarette charger? Also, is the noise constant or go away when playing music? Martin

    I believe that this circuit is from www.talkingelectronics.com There are 100s of circuits online to choose from. The output on pin 3 is definitely different to yours. But the dice is just a random number. The supply is a pp3 9v battery. Martin

    Hi Martin, You can use a 1:1 ratio transformer on each channel output from phone to input of amp. I personally use these on my mobile sound system. But it is more than likely that the charger is interfering. You can try and use a heavier gauge cable connecting amp to charger 'common' or try and...

    Ok, for the serious gear. Pourable, moldable, potable and flippin' expensive!!! Lm60...A liquid based waterproof insulator. I know it's good for lining water tanks. But I can't remember who manufactures it! Or the temp limitations. But worth a look.. Martin

    Why don't you crack open the fuse and see if the link sheared or is blown (melted) on the end. Should be fairly easy to see. Martin

    If it looked fine, then it could have just been vibration that separated the fusible link to the inside of the cap. Especially as you got power by knocking it!. Or it don't like going down hill!:) Martin
