Need help with some components in a PCB

Rev 3 is simply revision number 3. Third attempt or update or upgrage. E32000 whatever, is a number used to be able to trace the designer? Maybe.. 94v-0 is 'I think' is the fire rating of the board. U1, you will need the component markings to identify it. If it's possible!! Do you mean Z2? Q1 is...

Does a breadboard supply the same amount of power to everything connected

You could do that. But resistors are current limiting. You would need to know current used by the devices. But I would assume a servo or joy sticks current draw would change as they are moved. A voltage divider maybe better here. Or a 5v regulator. Martin

Does a breadboard supply the same amount of power to everything connected

Maybe they have a wide voltage range. Or depending on the servo, the motor is more forgiving. If it's pwm, they can handle more because it's pulsed. Try that same servo on 4v. It may be slower than on 9v. Or you are just lucky? It's not really good practice to hook something up to a higher...

    Rechargable Batteries Remaining Life

Yes they do ESTIMATE, because nobody knows. I would think the discharge rate would be slightly different for any individual battery. Even from the same batch. I would also say that a properly used cell could out perform a brand new cell. Also, using the same resistors for different batteries...

Does a breadboard supply the same amount of power to everything connected

Hi Rushmore, They will both get 9v. As in parallel. You will need to supply them 4v. Instead of the pp3 9v battery, use 3 AA batteries for about 4.5v with new cells. You could also use either side of the breadboard power rails and power them individually. Martin

    Bluetooth

Hi Adriano, Do you mean an intermediate bluetooth connection? Generally it would be a send to' or receive from' scenario. There are many ic's and modules available. Ebay is full of bluetooth audio modules.. Martin

How do I figure out these resistors?

No, you were quite clear.:) But I cannot help with the math. I have a friend that helps me with that!!! The resistor from the base to 0v is a pull down resistor. It is to do with leakage or noise from collector to emitter. It basically keeps the transistor turned off . Would you believe I have...

Goodtime Novelty air hockey scoreboard wiring repair

Hi again splurce, Again, that is not a loose screw. It is a potentiometer (volume knob). Possibly a switch too. Does it click when turned fully anti-clockwise? Anyway, there must be sound effects of some sort on the unit. Is this unit new to you? How are you so sure a connector or other switch...

Goodtime Novelty air hockey scoreboard wiring repair

That is not a loose screw! It looks like the dc input for running the unit on an ac/dc adaptor. If it's loose, maybe a wire has come off internally. Martin

How do I figure out these resistors?

Hello, They are both voltage dividers of sorts. The 8k2 and 68k charge the capacitor. When charged the 68k discharges it. The component values used determine the frequency, ie flash rate. on/off rate. The datasheet explains the math involved Here. Martin

What language is this Receiver Displaying?

Hello again Rick, To reset the remote control..Press and hold the up and down volume buttons together. Wait for the indicator led to flash twice.. Then enter the RESET ALL code 9987 and wait for the indicator led to flash twice again.. That should be it according to page 70 of the user manual...

Hi splurce, I have just been searching for that scoreboard. Is it the 'Carrom' table? There are only 5 wires. Black = DC 0v Red = DC 6v Green = Home White = Visitor And Orange or Brown are the reset. I also found pictures that don't show any missing connectors. May be you have a broken wire...

Goodtime Novelty air hockey scoreboard wiring repair

Hi splurce, The connectors with white and green wires are the goal sensor/switch wires. It looks like there is a connector missing for the Red and Black. But the Blacks are connected together in the large white connector. The Orange wire might be for a different table setup, with remote reset or...
