    4-20mA to ohms coverter

Nice one Laplace. Could the OP at least supply details of the panel and any instruction he has so at least we can get a better understanding. Adam

    Battery pack for Digital camera,

Have a look at DC to DC convertor modules. That should work. You might need to make up a 12 Volt pack I don't know if that's possible. Although I am sure if you have a look you might find a buck boost module that will run on a lower voltage...

    Sequential Timing Circuit

Hi Michael Here's the first draft of the schematic. I took the initiative to add a pause button, I thought it might be useful. But we can change or add what ever you like. This is just the start. Adam

    4-20mA to ohms coverter

I am struggling to work out a simple solution for you and unless the other guys can come up with something this is going to need some more thought. The only thing I can think of is a circuit to sequentially switch in the different resistors. So are you looking for only those temps shown and...

    Sequential Timing Circuit

Michael I need to know your plans. What do you intend to do with this development PCB? Do you plan to use it just to write the software for the prroject or use it as the PCB in the project? Adam

complete electroncis idiot needs help with a wireless remote light unit

What about PIR (passive infrared) you can get some that have relays like ones that are in auto lights. Adam

    Sequential Timing Circuit

@ Gyrd3 I meant on the dev PCB.

Regulator. He is running this from 12 volts. The room I meant was physical space. Adam

Which function generator to buy? $300 to $400 budget

Bloody hell Dan, you got gold teeth. I think he might want something a bit cheaper. Adam

    Sequential Timing Circuit

Thanks Kris but does it have enough room for the reg, transistors and switch inputs. Adam

    Choosing an Opto Isolator

I didnt say it was better than a zener diode. I just mentioned the use of MOVs for solenoids. But anything that has a PN junctions isnt going to be as fast as an MOV. Its dynamic resistance will be alot higher than the on resistance of an MOV. I have done alot of tests regarding ligthning...

    Sequential Timing Circuit

I think he wants it to be automatic. The way I see it is press a button and it start the timer, press again and it could stop. Press again and it starts a gain. Am I over simplifying things? Adam I have already said I will do it for free, this is simple and it doesnt seem he is making money out...

    4-20mA to ohms coverter

Can you change the input levels to measure different voltages like 1 to 5 volts or are you fixed at the voltages in your first post.

    Sequential Timing Circuit

How much current do the LED panels draw each? The Dev PCB will have a surface mount device on it, this is going to be difficult for you to solder to a PCB. I would think you will require a dip package. Kris can you suggest a dip PIC for Michael that you think will do it. I am thinking 1320 or...
