    Adjust the range of Transmitter

Maybe put it inside a fruit tin, lift the tin up to adjust range...o_O

    Save money?

Many I googled all the same specs. Range is around 12 metres and the clipsal unit said if mounting at heights other than this "significantly affected the sensor beam". So your guess is as good as mine really.

You will notice that most PIR detectors have a maximum recommended mounting height of around 3 metres from the ground or platform area.

    Small telephone exchange...

Depends on which country you reside and are doing your apprentiship in electrical (I assume that it is an apprentiship) Some countries have, as an extention to the trade training, the ability to access advanced training in telephony. That said, even if you are being trained as a dilutie you can...

    Small telephone exchange...

If do some study you get yourself a licence you will find there is a lot to know including how exchanges and phone systems work. Many can be done as an online course and in this day and age not all that costly. Basic licence takes about 2 years(mine did) and at the end it opens up many avenues...

    Small telephone exchange...

Just be very careful about connecting into or the possibility of connecting into Telecom equipment. They do not take very kindly to bogus equipment giving their end a touch up. You might just find yourself with a hefty bill from them or worse, end up in court. As they say, there are reasons why...

    As I outlined above.......no.

    Suitable substitute part

From the data sheet it looks like a specialised part as it has 2 open collector outputs, quite a high current handling capability , frequency generator, other things also.

    Samsung TV power board help

Never seen any type of hair do that much damage. Have however seen what a meter probe can do especially in the vicinity of a high voltage high capacity electro when shorted.

Code in setup section of a sketch

Probably best to use a change of state on the hall effect input pin or an interrupt on the same. Ignitions systems can be a noisy environment though so be prepared for some unexpected interference. I've found it best to put a small capacitor 0.01uf right on the base of the supply terminals of...

Code in setup section of a sketch

Then the program moves to the main loop after 20ms and finds the hall is still on so it turns the output back on again.

    Need help for ac switch

No, what I said was your existing circuit shows the lamp running off DC already. That is unless "suora +12V vilkkureleelta" means something else.

    Need help for ac switch

Diagram shows SCR driving the lamp from 12v dc. AC is being rectified and regulated to drive the gate. Forgetting the diagram for a moment, if you want to drive a 30W led off DC, simple to use a low on resistance Mosfet, forget the PNP transistor.

    Old tractor ignition upgrade problem

As they say, if you think you have problems now , wait until................ :) There is a post here with a reference to a microcontroller system that works fine. Runs via a hall effect pickup to a 12F683 with an excel spreadsheet for timing table. Small drawback is you have to re-program if...

programmable cdi, looking for a good project or kit

Many reasons for using the 12f683 over the 508, one of them being the 683 can be programmed many times over during development whereas the 508 is a "once program" only. Other things not so obvious but a check on the data sheet would clarify this. The CDI is not an easy subject to begin with and...

    Maximum current?

Yes, was a surprise to me also but apparently thats how it works. Perhaps the copper on the stake is for corrosion protection but it doesn't work as rods rust away from the inside. Also conductance tests are done to the copper cladding not the steel.
