How to protect Metal Halide Bulb from burning

I agree...... These lamps will draw maybe 4 to 6 times full load during the initial strike. There are times on large installs where I have had to fit a small PLC which would go through a start sequence, limiting the start of each group to a particular timing. In that arrangement, it didn't...

How to protect Metal Halide Bulb from burning

My guess is excessive voltage drop. You'll find there is a range they work in...outside this and you get problems.

My Project motor driver Smoked what driver i really need ?

The manual for this says...... Power connectors: The PCB has two power connectors. One is +5V for logic (Vcc) and one for the motor power supply. The motor power supply should not be connected without first connecting the +5V for logic. This device is rated for a maximum motor supply voltage of...

How do energy plants safely measure power

OP didn't seem that serious about it given the "ha..ha" Other than that, you've read all that from such a small query...my , you must be phychic. Also my answer is correct. Maybe short and to the point but correct never-the-less.

How to block or filter out back EMF interference?

Perhaps a 100R resistor series with a 12v zener to ground on your module supply. Assuming the module is 12V.

Peltier device for cooling beer keg

Do like the bloke in NZ. Use the physics associated with rapid use of LPG which made the LPG bottle extremely cold which cooled the beer. Trouble was, he did it in his basement and the LPG drove a gas turbine engine which generated so much heat he had to drink all the beer to cool off.o_O

How do energy plants safely measure power

Measurement of voltage through voltage transformers, current through current transformers. As you said, rather flash multimeters.

    need help wiring this

As Gryd3 said, for 240v, disconnect all 4 wires, Red goes to supply (say Active....brown wire) , Black goes to supply (say Neutral...blue wire) and the yellow and green get tied together in a connector. (no connection to supply)

    need help wiring this

As above...just a standard either or connection. Simply allows for different country supplies or different applications. Left diagram shows 240v with the 2 coils in series. Right shows 2 coils in parallel for 110v.

    Small solenoid coils

No sorry....never had the need. Friend of mine once gave me a stack of very small solenoids that came, I believe, from some type of commercial printer head. There were about 6 or 8 in each unit. I had looked at them but never managed to experiment with them. From memory they were 24v dc BUT had...

No idea and can't think of why one would need to know.

    Small solenoid coils

How about strip the guts out of small relays..... can be some cheap ones around..... variety of voltages. May even be able to run a solenoid core through the centre. Might tend to get hot over extended running though as dc relays usually have a core shorting ring. Not really meant for solid core...

    Brushless motor and ESC

He definetely need an ESC. This is what produces the 3 phase ac drive to the brushless motor.

    Brushless motor and ESC

You really don't have a choice with only 3 leads coming out. If there were 6 leads then you could make it either. Star would then give low start current and delta high speed.

    Beginner question?

Use 1 resistor (the 220R that you have) and 2 LEDs in series. Make up 15 sets of these in parallel. With the resistor you have, each leg will be limited to approx 13mA. .......... 9v-(3v+3v) = 3v ....... 3v/220R = 13mA. Times 15, close to 200mA. BUT......run that on a little 9v (216)...

    Beginner question?

The last detail should give you a clue...... "forward voltage : 3-3.2V" Each LED needs this voltage level........o_O

LED power supply thermal fuse blown

Fuse to me looks to be located very close to the input. Output is down the other end. Other than that, what is you query about then..? i.e. you already seem to know your answer
