Help needed with rocket timer circuit

No beep. Thats quite odd. Essentially all we have is the SCR and the buzzer. I replaced the scr and no change.

Repeat with 4v5 supply

Still no beep. Tried two other SCRs too. Checked C to A and that works.

So "G" doesn't work on 4.5v.

Gee, that's a surprise !!!

Black wire (negative) does not appear to connect to anything on both photos from #10 and #17.
