Check the datasheets for the IR2110 and 7805 to see what the recommended decoupling arrangements are.

I can figure out the regulator but not the IR2110 chip I think that this one is correct because in the image on the datasheet the VDD and VCC are connected and they have a shared decoupling capacitor arrangement, but in my case the VDD is separate from VCC and so they should both (the VDD and the VCC) have their own decoupling capacitor arrangements. Is that correct thinking?! I'm not very good at reading datasheets can you tell me what is good/will work please Mr Alec_t
just need the green light then I can get going with the PCB design, thanks
PS the GND symbol over INVETER INPUT should be over next to the 12volt connector!

Yes. With any IC the decoupling cap(s) need(s) to be as close to the supply pins as is practical.

thinking of adding in this circuitry are the diodes that are used throughout good enough here (I'm using UF5401)1728829475758.png

UF5401 is rated for 3A continuous current. Is that enough for your intended purpose?

hmm not sure... are they good enough for the rest of the inverter? not including the bridge?

Cool I have a bit of work to do before the Maglatron is up and running and producing voltage/current again or parse - power, maybe two weeks, then I can do some measurements to gauge its output!!!!!! I'm changing the driving method to the wheel to sprocket and chain! watch this space :D
