Hello,

You could generate a constant tone and use the fade effect several times and speeds on that tone.
You can select a part of the tone and apply the fade effect on that part.

There are also several modulation plugins for audacity:

You could also use the tremelo effect wit different speeds on different parts of the tone.

I realize you give me the instructions but I'm not following it's a bit complicated

can you simulate a 45hz signal that varies in amplitude in spice,
Depends on which version of SPICE you use. In LTSPICE it can be done easily with the "modulator" block:

V(in) = 2 Hz sine modulating signal
V(out) = 45 Hz amplitude modulated by the 2 Hz sine

I don't unerstand why you need two signals can I still use the 30 second clip I have that I made in audacity?

One signal is the 45 Hz sine wave, the other signal is the one that changes (modulates) the amplitude of the. 45 Hz sine.
can I still use the 30 second clip I have that I made in audacity?
Yes, if your version of SPICE allows to load the .wav fiule as an input source.

By no means do you have to use my circuit. There are, as so often, multiple ways the time variant signal you requested can be generated in SPICE. There are even others that have not yet been mentioned in this thread...

Thank you had another day off, drawing mechanical machines all day, I havn't forgotten about this though, i'll get on to the research on the wav files, will I need to make an envelope detector for each of the frequency bands,? common sense says yes, but just to be sure I might even just use the complex envelope detector if it stays the same for all the bands I got parts and time soo but I know that that is skipping a step on learning about the simulation been putting it off because once I have the audio file loaded in I need to put in the diode and resistor capacitor and then need to put the probe on a part of the circuit and can't picture where it would go perhaps if you tell me this last part I will be inspired to crack on!

Enter "ltspice use wav input" into your favorite search engine and learn how to use the wav file for input.
It's not to make money to be fair it's for myself but I do give all loose change to air-ambulance
