im afraid im unfamiliar with that method
A solar cell extracts electrical energy directly from light energy photons, it is a semiconductor. It produces electricity while light strikes on it.
The voltage or potential difference, is established across its terminals & is fixed to 0.5 volts & is nearly
independent to the intensity incident of light.
The current capacity of the cell is nearly proportional to the intensity of incident light as well as the area that is exposed to light .
Each of the cells has one positive terminal & one negative terminal called negative front contact & positive back contact.
Because it is a semiconductor, In the middle of these two contacts is a PN junction.
The rate of current production depends on intensity of light & angle of incident which falls on the cell.
Current production also depends on the surface area of the photovoltaic cell & is expressed as a maximum current density.
Maximum current is also known as the short circuit current density rating .
The ratio of maximum or short circuit current to the exposed surface area of the cell.
Jsc= Isc/ A
Jsc = maximum current density.
Isc = short circuit current.
A = area of the solar cell.
The radiated power of the Earth is approximately 1,000 watts per square meter. if the exposed surface area of the cell is a total radiated power on the cell it will be 1,000 watts.

silly question but.. if most or all inverters have a grounding slot.. where does that go exactly ???there is very little contact between my solar setup... and the ground floor...
You're scaring me...
That whole system should be in the shack. That's why we asked for wiring diagram of the individual components of your off grid solar system. There's also an on grid solar system where you're tied in to utility Mains.
You should look at the laws in the Philippines if any there are normally electrical codes the Way equipment is supposed to be hooked up so nobody dies. And you're modified sinewave inverter is going to bite you in the back side. The below two photos which is examples of inverters that are tied in to utility Mains along with and inverter that is off grid connected or tied.

The consumer guide to batteryless grid tie solar power systems for homes. Includes a wiring diagram and the operation basics.
