  1. HI AUDIOGURU! I GUESS SIMILAR ANALOGY HOLDS WITH ICS TOO.I KNOW THAT uA741 uA stands for fairchild,M for motorola etc and 74 for ttl logic thats it. ;D prateek
  2. hi there stuee! Any type of fuse can blow up only when the current rating of that fuse is exceeded.this can further be mainly due to 2 reasons: Firstly, the xformer chosen by you is not of appropriate rating.i.e it is of lower rating. Secondly, you are connecting the stepdown xformer in opposite configuration. i.e low voltage side towards the supply and highvoltage towards ur laser circuit. low voltage side draws more current and hence blows the fuse. ;D prateek
  3. hi audioguru! are u aware of the numbers of the transistors. As u said say"BC547A" what do "BC" ,"547" AND "A" MEAN? DOES IT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH PACKAGE .I JUST KNOW THERE ARE PACKAGES LIKE TO92.DO U KNOW WHAT THESE TERMS LIKE TO92,BC547 ETC MEAN? ;D PRATEEK
  4. hi junaid! how are u planning to use IR radiations in it? is it a substitute to your flash?plzexplain the principle of its working. as far as i understand u mean to use IR radiations at night as compared to white light in day time.right?use a binocular lens for better resolution. but again there is no white light? :D prateek
  5. hey all! any ideas for the color detector? ;D prateek
  6. hi audioguru! not even a single one in my case too.but there is a certain fact that i have noticed and hope u would also have.over prolonged use of same device in circuits, the device parameters (most troubling for me was Hfe) change and degrade the device performance. so arises the need to test these parameters again and again.for professional transistor manufacturers too the customer requirements are too precise.and ICs please!!!!!! 50% of them i have used are faulty! ;D prateek
  7. HI THERE! YOU MEAN TO SAY A PROJECT WHICH CAN BE CALLED A COLOUR DETECTOR? WHICH TELLS ME THE COLOR OF THE OBJECT IT SEES? PRATEEK :)
  8. hi there! BUT I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THE FUN OF USING IR RADIATIONS WHEN U CANT SEE THEM ESPECIALLY IN A DEVICE AS NIGHT VISION CAMERA.A SIMPLE FLASH WILL DO THE JOB. :) PRATEEK
  9. hi there! any other project related to light with anybody if the eyesight sensor is not possible? ??? prateek
  10. hi there! is it the infrared or night vision camera? for night vision camera,u need to incorporate a flash generating mechanism in it. prateek
  11. hi there! are u interested in telemetric sensing? your limits of current show it. what type of circuit is the one u wish to simulate? which current limits are 4-20mA? ??? prateek
  12. hi there! you must also check for the surges in the supply current for the capacitor. Varying currents produce the magnetic field and thus electromagnetic waves produce the sound. this could solve the problem.dont forget 90% of electronic bugs are in the power supplies. :) prateek
  13. hi nazx! you cant change it through your software and i do think that u cant even remove the back panel light but u can add a few leds more which are configured by your software by hardware u would have to change the source inside.Dont mess up until it is very necessary :) prateek
  14. hi tekker! books are many in number but there lies the task of gaining knowledge.go through my punch line (personalized text) in this forum . No limits! ;D prateek
  15. hey! what is the constant of integration for an integrator?just like we have Sin(x)+C as integral of Cos(x)? prateek
  16. hi there! it would be much easier for you to debug and compile the software which u write in C or C++ than in 8086 or 8085 assembly language. prateek :)
  17. OFCOURSE BUDDY! WE HAVE TRANSFORMERS TOO AND L-C-R CIRCUITS TOO,BUT ONLY THE INSTANTANEOUS VOLTAGE CAN EXCEED THE SUPPLY NOT THE RMS OR AVERAGE OTHERWISE ALL POWER PLANTS ARE USELESS! ;D PRATEEK
  18. the book title is "PULSE AND SWITCHING WAVEFORMS" BY JACOB MILLMAN & TAUB OTHER GOOD BOOKS ARE "SHOENBECK ", "SIMON HAYKINS" "OPPENHEIM WILLISKY" CHECK OUT THE SPELLINGS AGAIN BUDDY 8) PRATEEK
  19. hi there! can we even then conclude that even if it has a high gain, the o/p can never exceed the fixed supply.I may even generalize that voltage at any point in a circuit can never exceed the supply! :) prateek
  20. hi audioguru! even if there is infinite resistance between the 2 pins even then the signal will exist between the 2 pts equal to the applied signal say 5mV.how can i/p signal be considered as 0 even if it is present? prateek ::)
  21. yes audioguru! and that too low pass and high pass filters used in respect of signals are nothing but differentiators and integrators. :) prateek
  22. HI AUDIOGURU! FOR OPAMP TOO ! THAT HELL OPAMP! COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS THIS VIRTUAL GROUND?WHY DO WE ASSUME IT? I AM CONFUSED WITH AUTHORS WRITING V1=V2 AT 2 PINS OF THE OPAMP. AND ONE IS AT VIRTUAL GROUNG SO V2=0,HENCE V1=V2=0. HOW IS THIS? ???PRATEEK
  23. HI MP! THE LINK GIVEN BY YOU GIVES THE SPECTRUM OF WHITE LIGHT ,THE WAVELENGTH AND FREQUENCIES.BUT I WISH TO KNOW WHAT THING WOULD YOU EXPLOIT FROM THE HUMAN EYE TO GET THE OUTPUT? LIKE IF I RADIATE LIGHT AND RECIEVE IT BACK,HOW TO JUDGE THAT IT HAS REFLECTED FROM THE RETINA AND NOT MY GLASS WINDOW PANE? :-\ PRATEEK
  24. hi there! tekker! i know a book for basics which you cant live without even if u know noting of electronics and even if u know everything about electronics.the book is called "ELECTRONIC PRINCIPLES" by "MALVINO". IF U HAVE READ FUNDAMENTALS OF PHYSICS BY RESNICK AND HALLIDAY PREVIOUSLY THEN ITS CREAM ON CAKE . FOR COMMUNICATIONS "KENNEDY GEORGE" AND "SHOENBECK" ARE GOOD BOOKS. FOR ANALOG SYSTEMS U CAN STUDY "MILLMAN HALKIAS"AND "MILLMAN TAUB". 8) PRATEEK
