trigger Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Would like to know if there are any good websites about AM/FM tuning methods......?Although I have worked on this stuff for quite a few years, I still keep on trial-and-error methods for fine tuning.....And what are the sensitivities standard for AM/FM radio?? (I have several info but different factories have differenct standard........)Anyway, Thanks first ;D Quote
Kevin Weddle Posted August 16, 2004 Report Posted August 16, 2004 Whether you are manually tuning or calculating, doesn't it seem like this is the method which enables you to widdle down a design. You do one and then the other until you are satisfied with the results. I am sorry I can't recommend anything. Quote
trigger Posted August 18, 2004 Author Report Posted August 18, 2004 Thanks for reply.I can tell you that I am currently working on digital tuning system, that is, a PLL+VCO. However, it is quite different from that of manual tuning using capacitor, esp. matching RF coil part.I know that for radio sensitivity, mostly it related to circuit layout and component placement.... but I just hope to find an effective way to reduce the trial-and-error time. ::) Quote
