    10k pot problem

My guess would be that you have got the two power supply wires on the wrong terminals. Leave the signal/wiper/output wire where it is and swap the other two over.

CT recommendation for my home DIY energy monitor for 3.5Kw solar panels.

Haven't done much with CT's, but I believe the choice of Burden resistor value can have an effect on accuracy. There is not much to a CT, just a coil and possibly an over voltage protector (TVS?) if the output wires are disconnected. RS Components have CT's that may be suitable. Do you have a...

Cat 6 Ethernet Cable data restriction?

My thoughts, in no particular order. 1 - Possible colour blindness. Sorry, I had to put this in. 2 - Incorrect crimping. May pass continuity test, but not able to give full throughput. 3 - Faulty/counterfeit cable. Incorrect colours may be a clue. What length are your cables?

    RC snubber circuit

The heater element is a resistive load, not inductive, so do you need a snubber?

2 SWITCHES TAPPED FROM 1 SOURCE

What make/model of car? Are you fitting new lights or are they factory installed? LED or halogen? I should be able to draw a wiring diagram for you.

How will a car 10A circuit deal with double load?

As Martin advised, just do it. An extra bulb is hardly likely to cause any issues. Heaps of cars have had Hi-stop brake lights or trailer plugs fitted, without any issues. Many have both.

Truly embarrassed - help what have I done wrong

Shouldn't the reed switch be connected to the other side of the load?

    Sensor plug through wall

That is a pretty specialised requirement, so I would suggest that you contact companies experienced in this field. 8m of water is going to have a reasonable pressure behind it, so will demand a truly watertight system.

Do you drink it, smoke it, or inject it?

    Sensor plug through wall

Are both the walls internal, or is one external, ie needs weather protection? If both internal you could use standard wall plates with suitable connectors on each plate and a link cable through the wall from one to the other.

    Lightbar power options

It doesn't matter what voltage you choose as the internal circuitry in the lights will regulate the voltage down to the required level. Brightness will not be affected. The only real difference is that the lights will draw less current on 24v than 12v. LED lights like these are listed as...

    Automotive reverse polarity

Reverse polarity protection shouldn't be an issue in a vehicle as the battery will prevent this happening. You only have to worry about excessive positive spikes.

    Automotive reverse polarity

I have had very good success using the buck/boost, step up/down, DC-DC convertors from the likes of Aliexpress and Bangood etc. They have a potentiometer to set the output voltage, eg 12.0v. This voltage will be constant even when the battery voltage swings from about 10v during engine cranking...

Lead acid battery minimum discharge level

I never put batteries straight on to concrete. This has nothing to do with the "old wives tale" about them discharging, but because any acid on the bottom of the battery will damage the concrete.

Float Switch Relay Project - Looking for some help

Relay specs; Coil voltage: 12vdc Coil suppression: diode or resistor(protects float switch contacts from arcing when switching relay off) Contact voltage: 120vac or 120/240vac Contact current: 1amp minimum. Probably use 5A or 10A as they are more readily available. You only need a simple on/off...
