    If my transformer bottoms out at half an amp with a full load of 35v, how did I calculate the load capacity of the transformer at 6v?

    Grounded inverter circuit board

    The inverter board capacitors are dropping lots of AC and DC from their tops to the frame of the refrigerator. I was told to replace the inverter board. K I wanna find out why! What would make an inverter board do this?

    Wall wart readings

    I am presuming the Wall wart is.bad... it's a 7.5vdc 1800ma but meters at 0.00vdc. with a 22ohm load it reads 1700ma, bot only 1 volt. Does that mean it's time for the junk pile?

    LCD driver test

    This is the backside of my radio LCD board. It's 5v regulated and the big rect chip is the driver. The other chip is the MCU that's required by the driver. The top has a momentary push on- off + volume, and a squelch pot. Where would I apply the 5v to test the LCD?

    Fried PSU for 12v cb radio base station conversion

    Last night I tried to fix my PSU and it had a broken connection to the external transistor that I think shorted out. The diodes connection cooked the board as the pic shows. I want to try and rebuild it.

    This in my current mr. Fix it project the Roland mt-32 is a secondary sound generator module that plays at the same time as your keyboards built in synth, for more and different sounds at the same time. MIDI is primarily plug and play.. ( pnp) so there really aren't any legacy directives...

    Remote region weather radio scanner antenna

    I live in a deep hole way out in the sticks... I don't think the nps would want a radio tower at the archaeology digs but who knows. I have a marine cell booster that gets me that needed extra bar, but my weather radio barely gets a signal. What kind of 50 ohm antenna do I need?
