    You can’t measure a capacitors ESR (equivalent series resistance) with a multimeter.

    The voltage is fine when higher, never lower. (Unless of course a 55V cap is in a 12V circuit. Which of course, a 16V (at a push) but generally a 25V or higher capacitor can be used.

    Strange colours for a phone line. Usually blue, blue/white- orange, orange/white etc. And blue, blue/white being the line. But as it’s AC, connect yours either way.

    On remote control or TV buttons? If on remote control, probably a good clean inside and underside of keypad. Possibly a conductive paint too may be required.

    @H2814D said everything that I was going to say. There does appear to be quite a few dry solder joints over the board. But it could also be lighting and shadow.

    What PIN numbers are you connecting to?. Perhaps you have a current limit set too low for 6 coils on your power supply?

    Hardly helpful. A lot of my Hi-Fi is 1980s vintage. Nothing new comes close. I would take the back off the CRT and blow all the dust out to begin with.

    You can use that exact diagram for the layout. All strip board requires cutting traces so as not to cause short circuits. From the cut traces, a jumper wire is soldered to the next trace being used by a component leg.

    Help identifying USB connector for Dell docking station

    @bobbintb I’m in the process of scrapping 13 Dell tower PCs. I would assume that the USB will be the same as on the docking station. I’ll be happy to post them to you if you’re in the UK.

    What is this? Radio?

    It has a ferrite core antenna in there so possibly a receiver of some type. Possibly AM?. Most FM AM ferrite core antennas have two windings.
