    That model is indeed a 24V lead acid battery. I believe it dates back to about 2012?. The battery looks to be quite large too. Do you have the old battery to supply us with the specs? Edit: Battery = WA3216, 24V, 5Ah Charger = WA3721

    What model is it? The WG778E uses 2x20v = 40v. Show a picture of where the battery or batteries slide on. Also quite possibly has two ‘dead man’s’ switches so only can be used with two hands.

    That plug is NOT used in the UK!. We have similar for lighting ONLY with round pins but definitely NOT for appliances. OUR plugs have fuses in them.

    Like it’s said in 2018. Cut wires! Probably had a new carpet fitted in a room, the carpet gripper or knee kicker broke/cut the wires running around the skirtings. 90% of wire damage is around door entrances. Very common with alarm systems. Anyway, OP is long gone after 5 years!

    Ribbon cable is perfect for keeping it neat and tidy. Always try and use the multi coloured cable too. It makes it so much easier than deciphering ‘all’ grey cables.

    The soldering looks terrible. Especially top left corner (yellow wires). Possibly a reflow with a soldering iron and flux core solder would be all it needs. Intermittent functionality is exactly what happens when bad solder joints are present.

    Could it be a fusible resistor?. Any colour stripes? Does the motor have any specs on it? Show a photo of the board.

    It’s only a simulator. Real world characteristics kick in. Temperature, tolerances, resistance, inductance, capacitance,reactance. It all makes a difference. Is a driving simulator the same as driving on the road?.
