    Frankenstein's Components.

Yeah, I knew lol. My nailers and other tools are 18v so the adapters are perfect. We don’t have the Dewalt ones in the Uk yet. I got mine on Ebay between £9 and £13. Some of them have a usb outlet on too. Never used it though as I have the genuine one!.

Can you help me revive a dead battery?

It’s not the voltage you are after. It’s just a tiny zap to the battery. Then try charging it. Leave connector connected. Martin

Can you help me revive a dead battery?

No, you will only be one second. Attach wires to your power source then have a wire in each hand. Hold one wire with your thumb, pressing it on the pcb connection. Then with your other hand touch the other wire to the other connection. The adapter may work. I have never tried. I always have...

Can you help me revive a dead battery?

You have to use your imagination!. Push wires into connector? Hold wires to bottom of connector on pcb? Remove a bit of wire insulation and make your connections? Remove battery heat shrink to get to connections? Push pin headers on connector? Many many ways. Martin

Can you help me revive a dead battery?

This is NOT recommended. You can jump start some dead batteries. Use a 9 to 12v DC battery and jump yours for only ONE second. A tiny spark may be seen. Then try charging with your charger. Repeat a couple of times if it doesn’t work first time. You may need to jump it while connected to the...

Replacing fets for a DC-AC inverter?

Maybe. But there is a chance that a defective device was an accident waiting to happen. It may prove a reasonable unit once repaired. Martin

A Funny Thing Happened on the way to this circuit

LEDs can be connected either series, parallel or a combination of both depending on the circuit and voltage available. There is a great resource section on this forum here , that will explain all you need to know about LEDs. Martin
