    Where to start? - beginner

Thanks for the heads up on copying.... I am normally logged in, but sometimes the computer goes to sleep. Sometimes I am still logged in others not! Only happened once or twice though. Glad you like the video. Is that still a little too complicated? If you post here the bits you have...

    Exactly what component is this?

I have absolutely no idea. I have a large "pink" resistor in my psu covered aswell.. But it's very light (weight) and large, 1" long. I know the leads often get covered to protect from shorts etc. But the whole thing would surely not help with heat dissipation. May be it doesn't get hot! Without...

    Exactly what component is this?

Funny you say that. The fusible resistors and surge resistors are all that I could find in "pink"... No reason for those across mosfets though. 0.012Ω comes up on the calculator. So a real small resistance. May be some kind of ballast resistor. But I don't know. Martin

SA VK72D panasonic 5 disc stero is stuck at disc change

Hello littleangel, I think you will need to open the stereo and manually release the changer. It more than likely got stuck by a disc not inserted properly or the stereo was moved and dislodged the CD from the tray. Don't turn it on.....Take it apart!! (Dave Jones) Martin

pin layout of door viewer cam

Hello, How did you determine the video lead? There will be two neutral/grounds, one power and one video. The neutral/ground will be common on the camera board. But will split from the connector to a DC jack and a video RCA connector. Martin

    Component kits

Really depends on what your first projects will be! Most start with LEDs. Then getting that to flash. This can be done with simple components in that list or with a LM555 timer. Then with a CD4017... So you could add those to your list. And some trim pots. These.. Martin
